The lingering leadership crisis rocking the Actors Guild of
Nigeria at the National level, has come to an end as the two biggest rivals,
Ibinabo Fiberesima and Emeka Ike, who were both laying claim to the presidency
of the Guild, have finally settled their age long differences.
Addressing the media at the weekend, both Ibinabo and Emeka
said that the peace was now very necessary as their division has stagnated the
Guild and it has also rubbed off on the nation’s movie Industry.
While they were bickering, the likes of Mo Abudu and Blessing Egbe were busy taking over the movie landscape.
By the way, is the guild still relevant?
